I was looking to buy a light and small laptop I can use for emailing and accessing Office files ppt, xls, word when travelling. My laptop is heavy and with the power adapter it takes up too much space in a carry on hand luggage. With this iPad mini keyboard case I could convert my iPad mini to a portable long battery life mini laptop for basic office work on the go without spending over 500 Eur for a Windows compatible small laptop. The keyboard is very strong and feels like I really have a metal cased laptop. I like that the keyboard has backlight, all laptops should have that feature. I don’t need the 7 colours to choose from it is more like the party piece. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and just giving 4 stars for the battery life instead of 5 because I havent used the case long enough to judge. I had no issue with its charging time or battery life so far. The case is not a flip out case, the maximum angle is about 120 d, just like an average laptop. I needed this because it also holds strong while typing and it doesnt need a solid table surface to stay open and at the angle you need. Other keyboard cases might be rotatable 360d but they use different ‘stand designs’ to keep the screen upright. This design is much more stable than those if you can give up the tablet use of the iPad while using with this case. I only use the keyboard case when travelling and use regular cover at home in a tablet mode.

Its workes great but make sure ir setting is in english keybored and its a bit gard to connect.but its good.

Update 13/09/19I thought it best to update this as just over 4months later and after only two month's use the second case broke.I was so sad. I contacted the company - I feel bad for them as clearly this beautiful case has a design fault, with the ipad in, it's just too heavy for the hinges to sustain the weight for any length of time. I really doubt I was unlucky twice; the same exact thing happened...after really careful use the hinges started to make weird noises and then broke, leaving the neck swinging.The company asked for photos, I suggested a video as the case looks absolutely perfect, the issue isn't cosmetic and the actual keyboard part still works perfectly. They then apologised, told me the product was now out of stock and gave me a full refund...I bet their glad to see the back of me but they were very decent about the whole thing.I feel bad but what can we do as customers? I so wanted this case to work out, especially as it was a gift; you can see how thrilled I was with my first review. I'm genuinely gutted it didn't work out but at nearly £40 this needs to work, right? I really hope someone will find a way to fix this because it's absolutely gorgeous.I don't know what to do about the stars, the company certainly deserve 5🌟, I guess I'll have to regretfully knock a couple off for the product though...what a pity.Update 03/05/19Wow. Unbelievably less than 24hrs later and I’m charging up a brand new keyboard case. The company responded straight away with an apology and a new unit sent out immediately, there was no mention of me returning the old one so I didn’t have to spend ages parcelling up, which is a real bonus. As a result I’m reinstating the original 5🌟review. That’s what I call customer service. The one tiny issue i had with this gorgeous device is the weight of the side with the iPad in is heavier than the keyboard side, the keyboard side could do with being weighted. I’m hoping the breaking is not due to this and that the broken stand is a one-off problem with this particular unit, especially as it’s so soon after purchase.I was relieved to see you have a great customer service record and so I’m hoping to hear from you. I’ll leave another update as soon as I have news.Original Review:Oh! This product is just utterly beautiful, which for me is almost as important as the function. It is wonderfully intuitive and the flow between that and the virtual keyboard and touchscreen is seamless. I have the Rose Gold as it’s the nearest I could get to pink and it is actually like a gold pink, rather than a reddish gold, which I love. I’m beyond delighted, it turns my iPad into a mini computer, the keys are a really good size and respond perfectly and it came with a really good quality keyboard protector. It’s great for watching videos as a stand and the Battery lasts ages (sorry that’s not specific!). It’s offers excellent protection for the IPad which fits in very securely and is perfect to pop in your backpack. It’s not the most expensive on the market but it’s still pricey compared to a standard iPad case...because it’s way beyond standard! If you want something more substantial than a case and like this mini computer look then it’s absolutely worth every penny. This is my best Mother’s Day gift ever so thank you Hal, Morgan, Rich, Scout and Bertie xxx

I adore everything about this keyboard case for my iPad mini 2. I spent ages and ages searching for something to turn my iPad into a mini laptop as my usual laptop is way too heavy and bulky to lug around day-to-day.This keyboard case is lovely to look at, sturdy, yet light. The whole thing fits into my usual bag with no problem although I bought a bag as well for days that I don't need to use a handbag.Love it. Highly recommended.I haven't mentioned battery life yet, but I'll update this review when I've had an opportunity to test.

Ich hatte eine ähnliche Hülle schon einmal für mein Ipad Mini 2 mir zu Beginn meines Studiums gekauft und fand es toll aus meinem Ipad ein mini MacBook zu machen. Leider kann ich dieses mittlerweile nicht mehr aufladen, weshalb ich ein Ersatz dafür gesucht habe. Mit dieser Hülle habe ich mehr als Ersatz gefunden, es ist ein Upgrade geworden: die Qualität wirkt hochwertiger und stabiler, die Tastatur ist um einiges angenehmer (vergleichbar mit der des "echten" MacBooks) und auch leise und macht auch so einen sehr soliden, sicheren, und hübschen Eindruck. Kurz gesagt: ich liebe mein kleines mini MacBook, welches einfacher praktischer ist jeden Tag mit in die Uni zu tragen. Somit wird mein OG MacBook und mein Rücken auch geschont.
