Yummy! And super easy...
I liked this soup base so much, I bought mass quantities for stocking stuffers for friends and family at Christmas. I am a native born Vietnamese person, and I make bun rieu noodles all the time. I have tried all the store-bought canned shrimp/crab mixes, and making my own shrimp/crab base at home. The former is loaded with MSG and leaves a tin can taste, and the latter is time consuming. This was the perfect solution. It's easy to use, fast, and makes a great soup broth. Truly, it tastes like homemade - something my mom would have whipped up. As will any instant broth, you can use it as directed, or just to supplement or speed up your own recipes. I did both. I added more eggs than directed, as well as real crab and ground turkey to the egg mixture. I also added a bit of tamarind paste to give it a tangy-er taste to the broth. Both versions were really good - even better than many restaurant versions if you're lucky enough to find any. Overall, I highly recommend this broth mix.

Not as good as the other flavors
Did not really like this one, was salty and bland. The wonton and pho flavored ones are much better. I used it combined with Knorrs chicken bullion to make hot pot broth and it was pretty good, but as a stand alone soup base it is not that great. Recommend the wonton flavored one as a stand alone. The pho one is also a bit salty and bland by itself, but has a great aroma and need to be mixed with the harvest 2000 one for optimal authentic pho flavor.
