Has anyone had the filter just fall off the connector? It's happened several times when water pressure comes thru. It's installed correctly.

This has happened to me multiple times. It's gotten to the point that I don't use it anymore and buy water until I can purchase a system that works. Now that I read that this has happened to others, I will try calling PUR to get the adapter. Has anyone had the problem with the water either not coming out or barely trickling, if you turn on the sink without the filter switched on?

Do the instructions say to turn the filter off when turning the hot water on or the filter would get ruined quickly with hot water?
