Highly recommend. I'll start off with noting one of the most useful things that happened within a month of owning this freezer thermometer. The power went out but it happened while we were not home. I was able to look at the temperature readings to get an estimate of how long the outage lasted and if any food was affected. I love having the temperature graph to see if the temps dipped higher or lower than they should. It's very easy to read and keep track of. It also shows you the battery life which is great. Not a product issue but a phone issue is that my widget for the Govee Home App displays an outdated temperature and to get a current accurate reading you do have to open the app to update. I've had no issues with connecting to the app from any location thus far.I had bought a different brand before but didn't realize it required a hub to function. Not the case with this freezer thermometer. It is a small cute size so doesn't take up much space and has worked well. I do have a manual thermometer to compare against for temperature accuracy.It says it handles down to -4 degrees Farenheit which is true. My freezer dips below that frequently maybe up to -9 degrees and the thermometer is still kicking. But again it's only been a month so we shall see how long the battery lasts being pushed.

Got this after my fridge stopped working right and I didn't notice until it was too late. I got the fridge working again but had to throw away most of my food. Not much to say - works well, easy to set-up in the app. You really do have to be close to sync data but it's fine for my needs.

Good thermometer for a great price. I use it to monitor medication in my mini fridge that needs to stay between 36-46F. Very accurate and always matches the analog thermometer I have sitting next to it. Tiny and compact, easy to set up, and wireless with good Bluetooth connectivity. The app is pretty nice with a decent interface, the ability to set an alert if the temperature drops or rises outside of a preset range, and a graph that allows you to go back quite far to track temperature fluctuation.The only downside/weird thing is that it’ll randomly send a notification that the temperature is crazy high (between 1000-2000F) which obviously isn’t the case, but opening the app displays the correct temperature and the spike isn’t even recorded in the chart. It happens maybe once every few days and just seems to be weird app bug. Otherwise, great device and definitely worth the price.

Excellent for baby chick brooder. Since u don’t want your babies chicks getting cold or to hot it’s important to monitor the temp. I have a make shift brooder it’s large and the chicks love the room. I use a brooder plate not a light as the light messes with there biorhythm and they don’t sleep well. I raise these little buggers and my neighbor uses them for egg chickens. I love raising them and the little kids love them. This thermometer has given me piece of mind that my brooder is staying at the perfect temp. I control temp by opening and closing lid. The thermometer also hangs easily in the area next to brooder plate. Only problem I have is these little chicks eat more food than my dog! lol
