I always go to the good & the bad reviews. With over 100,000 reviews, mostly positive, this caught my attention. I'm revamping my motorhome and so I am purchasing a lot right now, and I'm sick & tired of reading reviews, hearing a few bad ones, and then saying "next". I'm getting nowhere. Everything has some good & some bad. Nothing is made for everyone. But, I can tell you this. This mattress cover has so far, been everything they are claiming. Read my honest opinion concerning some of their claims.1. Mattress encasement. I have a short queen mattress and a nice memory foam topper. Looking at this, my son was convinced it was not going to fit. With his help, we stood the mattress upright with the topper, as much as we could and it slid on easily. I measured ahead of time and I needed a 15". It was a perfect 15", maybe 1/2" wiggle room.2. The fabric. I've not slept on this yet as I am preparing my motorhome right now. So I can not comment on the "noise" that some are complaining about until after I move in. I will update you. But after giving it a quick test, it was so comfortable, that it passed with flying colors, in my opinion. The material felt like it was a high-end hotel sheet. I can only hope the sheets I ordered are so soft. The feel was luxurious. It's not a thick or padded material. But I do not remember reading that in the description either.3. The zipper. Easy peasy. It zipped right up without a catch. It has one of those little velcro closures to keep the zipper secured.As far as the other claims, time will tell. The longevity, the washing/drying experience. etc.I would recommend this to friends & family. Anyone looking for a quality item at a fair price, this is it. I can only think that some reviewers received the wrong item. Thickness & material wise. Unless I just got lucky and got a great one. This was an easy purchase. Maybe now, I can stop overthinking every single purchase I make haha! Good luck with your shopping.

This mattress cover , encases the mattress completely. I bought it for a mattress that I was putting in a spare bedroom.Because it was not going on the mattress that I use nightly, I didn’t want to spend a great deal of money. This was very inexpensive, but the quality was very good. .I expected there to be some, not so pleasant smell, when I first opened the cover. Especially since it’s waterproof. But, no smell at all!!!!I washed the cover, prior to using it. It came out of the washing machine beautifully. There were no extra threads hanging It came out looking just like it looked before it went in.The cover I bought was a King size. Lots of material. Because it is made so well, I had no trouble putting it on by myself.The cover went on effortlessly over the top and bottom of the mattress, as well as the corners and sides..An excellent quality zipper is located along one of the sides. It zips with little to no effort. In addition, it is almost invisible when zipped. It protects any sheets/blankets from getting caught in it, as well.Over all, this mattress cover is of excellent quality. It is waterproof, protecting the mattress from any spills. It encases the mattress completely. No bugs can get inside, nor can they get out. It fits the mattress beautifully and stays in place once on . The cover does not reduce pain nor does it make a mattress more comfortable. It is the same thickness as a regular sheet.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mattress cover. You will never find a better quality cover, especially at the price..

Thankful for this cover! It definitely washed well right out of the package! I love that it’s not flimsy like so many others that tear when you put them on your mattress! The zipper cover is definitely a plus for me as I’m using it for bug protection as our senior building is infested with bedbugs and roaches!It’s very soft and comfortable with no scratchy noises coming from underneath my padded mattress cover I put over top of this one. The thickness is amazing! I can’t see through the material and with the help of one person I was able to put the Queen size cover on easily! So far no unwanted guests have made its way through the barrier! Yay!

Once its on, its on. The zipper only goes on one end and down the sides about 24 inches. Took two of to put on a twin as the directions stated. One of the kids spilled juice and it wiped up easily but it did stain. I wanted to take off to wash but it's too much of a hassle and the juice did come off with a clorex wipe. The stain drives me crazy.

I'm very sensitive to dust mites and found that (surprisingly!) there's nothing on the market to wrap around IKEA couch cushion inserts. Based on the measurements, I figured that the Crib size of these mattress protectors might come close.They do a pretty good job! The width and depth fit the cushions perfectly. They run a little long of course, but not by too much, and I don't think anyone will notice when they're put into the cloth covers with the extra protector folded underneath. The covers themselves are pretty good quality and zip easily. I'm very pleased with these protectors as a solution to my problem.

So far hasnt frayed or ripped and has kept dirt and debris from ruining the matttress and the event of multiple sleeeps and night time occasional sweats. Not soft but is when you put other covers on it. Simply unzips and slides over mattress and zip it back up fitting nicely. Not too tight to where it's a struggle. it's easy to use, thin thickness, and fucntionally works.

The queen mattress encasement fits well, with a bit of extra room. I haven't tested its waterproof feature since I haven't spilled anything on it. I bought this along with pillow covers to help manage my dust mite allergy. While it does make a slight plastic noise when I run my hand over the top sheet, I haven't felt any difference in comfort. I haven't washed the cover yet since I've only had it for less than a month. It's easier to install with someone assisting you.
