Accurate and reliable
This thermostat replaced another type which had become unreliable. It came pre-programmed, which saved a lot of time on installation. The most notable difference is that it is much more sensitive than the old thermostat it replaced. This saves money as it is more economic in use. I would certainly recommend it if you are looking to install a wireless control for your heating system

Bought to replace parts
We had one working fine for a couple of years, I accidentally knocked the thermostat off the wall and broke it. Had to buy the full pack to replace the thermostat unit, the receiver was working fine. One star off for Honeywell's "instructions" to pair the receiver and thermostat, they were less than useless!!! Googled a friendly handyman who walked the pairing process through in human language; now it's all working perfectly again. All in all a good system, whether you prefer to control manually or set timers for your heating. Just be careful if you do use the wall mounting (it's not flimsy, I was clumsy)!

More difficult
Not as good as the previous model. That was much much easier to set up and program!

Does the job
The Automatic mode has 4 set points so you can split every day into sections with different temperatures. Then you can decide if this setting is applied to all seven days in a week, or only to five and you set up something else for the to other two.The Manual mode keeps one setting on all the time.It is a simplified version my previous Haneywell thermostat. No holiday or party mode. Which I never used.Personally, I am happy with this thermostat

Easy to setup, simple but obviously not a smart instrument.
Easy to setup . 7 day setup . 6 triggers per day . 1 zone.Battery operated. Receiver is wired in to a newish vallianr ( by gas engineer) . Not as sophisticated as a smart thermostat though.Temperature is accurate within half to 1 degree. Checked using another instrument .

Returned it!
The plumber said it was very slow to connect & suggests it could be a faulty connection . As he has used these many times he knows what he’s talking about. So I’ve returned it.

Easy to fit
Im not a plumber or electrician but it only took 20 mins to fit and programme (including finding a screwdriver)The trick is to fit the relay unit and power it up before putting the batteries in the thermostat unit.
