Pleasantly surprised
This C adapter was used with a Sensi Wi-Fi thermostat ST 55 in a 125-year-old house. I had used just batteries before to bring in the Internet, but at times it was on and off. Since putting this adapter in everything works perfectly.

Works fine
I needed a C wire for my Google thermostat. This plugs into an outlet so no need to run the wire to your furnace. So far so good. It doesn’t come with a wiring Diagram. I had to do some internet searches for that.

Wiring does not work with Nest thermostat
This adapter uses extremely thin stranded wire that does not make reliable contact with Nest's terminals. Even when properly delivering 24V AC, the connection is unstable or rejected. Avoid if you're powering a smart thermostat without a C wire.
