Cattywompus fit
Since the original grafting tool I ought was a bit flimsy, I bought this one. This works well. Sometimes a little difficult the line-up the branches when cutting, making them a it cattywompus in the fit.

Grafting tool, looks good, waiting for spring to use.
Looks well built, not sure of quality of cutters as I will not use this tool until spring.

Doesn't work
Clever idea, but the grafts don't take. Probably because of the way the blade cuts the cambium - more of a squeezed cut, crushing the bark, when it should be a smooth slice.I did half my stone fruit grafts with this tool in February, only the ones I did with a knife actually took.
