Sony WF-C500 Bluetooth Earbuds with Mic, TWS, Up to 20Hrs Battery-Black

Been using daily for almost 2 months now, here are the pros and cons according to my usage,Pros1. Really good music quality with apt bass, with the sony connect app an equaliser is also available to tune around and play with the levels of bass etc2. Although ANC is not there, still the shape of the buds give a really good passive noise cancellation which is pretty good, I've even worn them when travelling in train.3. The battery backup is excellent as it has never run out of battery, and the longest stretch of continous usage I've had is 10h, which still had 60-70% charge left.4. The shape of the case is very small and compact, easy to carry.5. The buds are very light weight, even in continous usage ear doesn't pain.Cons1. There is a small noise which exists when music isn't playing, it isn't evident when music is on, becomes really evident when scrolling through instagram etc.This is a good buy for a 3-4k budget range.

The pause play button on the right earbud is such a pain... It doesn't work at times and it's so frustrating.Even tho I'm using the earbuds along with sony connect app idk I'm not enjoying the music as much as I did with boat earpods (yes I used boat earpods for a year and the left earpod stopped working so I thought of giving sony earpods a try).. idk anything about base or equilizers n stuff but I do know that I love music when I can feel every beat every instruments used or every small details in a song (that's how I enjoy music, just close your eyes and float in your mind while the song's playing, just peaceful), so I did every kind of settings to get that perfect feel of the music but... I dint get that.. it feels bland, tasteless 😐.. it's like listening to music just for the sake of it..sometimes while on a call, there's latency, I mean either the other person is not able to hear you properly or your voice reaching them is delayed, situations like these, I remove one of the earpods and hold it near my mouth and speak into it, it seems to work that way.Charge in the case seems to last for 2 days max.. the case started blinking and at first I dint know what was happening later it stopped blinking and then I realised it was out of battery, blinking was an indication to charge the case.Used them for almost a month now and these are the things I wanted to share, I'll add more in the future is there's any.EDIT Oct 15 2024--- 2+ years and still working like a charm!!! In these 2+ years, I've dropped these earpods n number of times including the case but these earpods seems Indestructible!And I use them EVERY SINGLE DAY and I swear these feel like rock solid bcs they don't go out of charge or have any problems with charging. I looked back at my review and realised I mentioned about music being bland, but now I want to mention that I used to use an application to increase sound on my phone bcs device volume is very low, but as soon as I removed that application and started using applications that's compatible with these earpods (sound connect and 360 reality audio live), it's completely game changer now.. the music the beats n sound everything is amazing now, only downside is calling. I sometimes face issues during calls, sometimes the other person cannot hear you properly, situation like those I put back the earpods in the case for a min and then put them back on and it seems to work, ik it's extra work but hey something is better than nothing if you wanna get good long-lasting earpods for a reasonable price.Investing on these earpods is honestly the best decision I've made, I'm pretty sure they gon last for a very very long time.I guess I'll come back here again after 2 years :D

Okay, so here are my few thoughts about these earphones after using them for about 2 months.Let's first look at the design and build. Over the build quality is fantastic. The materials used are high quality and they seem like a pair which are designed to last. When it comes to ergonomics, they fit pretty snug in my ears and they don't poke out. But this may vary based on the shape and size of your ears. Over all, I find the find extremely comfortable and snug.Now, coming to best feature of these buds, the sound. Short answer, they are the best sounding earphones in this price range. You can compare them to any other TWS in the same price bracket and you'll end up picking these every time. They are that good. The fidelity of the sound is immense, there is no boost on particular frequency, overall well balanced sound which you can tweak through the app.Battery life is fairly decent, I charge it once or max twice a week and these have given me no problem.The worst part about these buds are the mic quality. It's straight up bad. If you're going to do a lot of calling then I do not recommend these.For everything else, these are the best.

I purchased these earbuds with high hopes, but unfortunately, they have been a major disappointment. Within just two years, I encountered two separate defects. The first issue occurred after about 10 months of use, when one earbud completely stopped working. I thought it might have been a simple wiring issue, but no amount of troubleshooting seemed to fix it. I contacted customer service, and they were kind enough to replace the defective pair, though the process was a bit slow.Fast forward a year later, and the same earbud has malfunctioned again — this time, the sound quality became muffled and distorted, rendering them nearly unusable. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with recurring issues like this, especially for a product that's marketed as reliable. I also expected more durability and longevity given the price.While the sound quality and comfort were great when the earbuds were working, the repeated defects make me hesitant to recommend them. I’m currently looking for a more dependable alternative. It’s unfortunate because the overall design and features seemed promising, but the quality control clearly leaves a lot to be desired.
