Great addition to my shop
Very easy to set up and use, feels solid. It's perfect for my application, but like any tool, it has me wanting to buy a bigger and better one now that I see the possibilities. This is not going to repeatedly mill 3/8" steel and have any kind of longevity. I use it mostly for working on 16 gauge steel tubes and its very capable at that.

Loose and broke quickly
2nd use the main drive gear snapped. It is plastic. Every screw on this machine was loose when it arrived. Motor is exceptionally loud. Doubts on how long it will last. Cant speak on the accuracy yet, as is broke too quick. Spend a little extra and get a bit better machine!

This was a very good purchase!
This mini mill was exactly what it was advertised to be. It measured up to all expectations in performance and dependability. The work I have produced has been both accurate and nice to look at.I would recommend this mini mill to others.

Buy seig x2d instead
Do not buy the Eastwood brand sieg x2 mini mill. They must get the ones that are returned or made on a Friday. I made a horrible mistake in believing the description when it says ready to use out of the box, certainly not. Or i was sold a lemon. Comparing thses to the same sieg x2 its probably 50% worse quality. I wouldn't be this upset if it were 200$ cheaper even but with shipping and everything it wasn't worth it + the time cleaning up the mess of crap. Please there tech support doesn't even know anything about this. Hopefully i can spend awareness on this issue or Eastwood tools stops selling it because id hate for anyone to go through what i have. I should have been making things by now but if i did nothing would come out remotely correct and the machine would just break. Huge waste of my time. They should be ashamed, harbor freight isn't even this bad.
