This is good butcher paper. As the title says, it is food grade, made in the USA, and uncoated, unbleached, and unwaxed. I am going to try wrapping meat in this, as the first layer, before freezing. My second layer will be plastic wrap or bags. I am trying this, as a healthier option, so plastic doesn’t come into contact with my food in the freezer. The company also has good customer service. I contacted them by email with a question and got a prompt and helpful reply.

Great for smoking brisket! I smokes a brisket with a smoker that used wood pellets for about 6 hrs. I used this paper to wrap and get the brisket up to internal temp without drying it out. The brisket turned out juicy and real good smoke flavor. So it did it's job to keep the meat moist and letting the meat cooking.

We have always used foil for our brisket, but decided to give this a try to eliminate aluminum affects on food. The paper worked wonderfully & we won’t be using foil any more! The meat stayed very moist.

The first roll I purchase had plastic inserts in the end of roll making it easy to keep the roll covered between uses and the new roll no longer has the inserts causing me to come up with another way to keep the roll covered between uses.
