This is a great size for a small family! I bought it to replace my 6.5 qt. slow cooker, which was cumbersome to use, big to store, and an oval shape that didn't fit well on my stove burner. This slow cooker is 4 qt, round, fits on my stove burner, easy to wash, easy to store, and lighter to lift. I don't mind not having a bunch of pre-defined cook cycles. This is perfect for us. Makes a great pot of chili, pulled pork, or a pot of poultry stock.

Love this slow cooker! Perfect size, great quality, easy to use, and all the features you need to make meals a snap.

For two , it is perfect and cooks well and actually cooks fast for a slow pot. We have created 3 meals and all of them were great!

The shape takes up more room in the refrig, and rectangle roasts (esp frozen) do not fit.

I looked at while to find this size with a metal liner. Lighter to manage, I put the liner in the fridge a lot and always afraid the ceramic ones will scratch the glass or chip. I like being able to put it on my burner to saute before putting it in for cooking.

Save your money and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! Unfortunately for us, we did not use this product enough to discover the issue until it was too late to return. Hopefully you will not make the same mistake, so just don't waste your money on this. The low heat setting on this product is a joke! we cooked a beef roast in this thing on low for 10 hrs and it still was not fully cooked or very tender, AT ALL!! The only way to cook meat in this thing is to use the High heat setting! But when doing so, you have to keep an eye on it so you can add more liquid to it as the High setting is so high, that it boils the liquid out in a couple of hours! The best way to use this by keeping an eye on it while alternating between the low and high settings until the food is cooked and tender. No more adding your food in, setting the temp on Low, and then leave it alone for about 8 hrs until the food is ready, like we were able to with our old classic Crock Pot! So, again, I advise you to save your money and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!

Has all the features you will need to have dinner ready when you get home. No mess cleanup and storage. All my old cookers are going to the Salvation Army for a second chance. Four courts is just the size for an older couples. Some for now and leftovers for later in the week.
