Great!
My cassette adapter malfunctioned halfway through digitizing my dad's cassette tapes. This replacement worked perfectly! I was able to finish the job without anymore hassles!

It broke!
This item broke after only 4 transfers. However, vendor refunded promptly. A similar purchase from another vendor also broke after 4 uses. These inexpensive motorized VHS adapters seem cheaply made. FYI, a used, non-motorized adapter was my solution!

Didn't work
The first problem was that upon opening the package, a pin fill out. My guess is that it's supposed to go in the back hole? not sure. The cassette adapter I had as a kid clicked when you put the mini tape in; this one did not. The mini tape falls out of the adapter when it doesn't click in place. When the adapter was loading the film, it crickle-crackles. When the adapter goes into the VCR, it also crickle-crackles. Screen shows "Play" but then remains a blue screen, even though you can hear the tape rolling. The cassette's tape comes out of the top after removing it from the adapter. Glad my VCR and cassettes are still okay, sorry to all the others that lost memories because of this.
