InstaHanger - Wall Mounted Drying Rack - The Original Collapsible Clothes Drying Rack and Storage

I am very impressed with this folding hangar! It is extremely sturdy, the plastic is heavy duty, the metal bar is also heavy enough that I can hang many many wet clothes on it. It came with great instructions and a template to assist in putting it on the wall straight. It fits in between 2 closets perfectly for us. When it folds up, it blends into the wall very well. It is smooth in its folding and unfolding mechanism and super easy to use. I would HIGHLY recommend this handy hanger!5-14-24 I am writing an update from last year when I purchased this originally.... I STILL LOVE THIS HANGER!!!!! How I lived without it I have no idea!!! It still works great, still looks great, it holds a LOT of weight, no problems or defects with this fantastic device! Whoever thought it up was a genius!

Works great in our little laundry room. Love the space saving functionality. Plastic did not break when anchoring to the wall and works as expected in regard to drying capacity, assembly and weight. Would recommend!

This gave me a place to hang clothes to dry. Doesn’t take up any space at all! Easy to hang. Helped me to utilize space well in my laundry room.

Really like this product. We have a tiny apartment and my boyfriend hang dries a lot of his shirts. I like that it sits flush with the wall when not in use and it’s pretty sturdy when pulled out and has shirts on it. Probably could fit 5 shirts comfortably. Maybe 7 max.Taking off 1 star for an issue we had. My only flaw is the installation process. It was definitely not as easy as the other reviews or instructions say. You need to take out the metal hanger part and the top so you can see where the screws are you’re drilling and fit your screwdriver. Once we did that it was difficult than to get the top piece and rod back in. So we had to lightly unscrew it, attach the rod and top on, then screw it back in all the way. We used the drywall anchors it came with and put all the screws in and it still feels a bit wobbly. It’s not tight onto the wall. I actually used a longer screw we had lying around the house and put that in one of the holes and tightened it and it holds much better now, but, I shouldn’t of had to do that. Love the product. Looks really nice and clean. Just hated installing.

Installed this in a wall opening stud. Very sturdy and folds up neatly when not being used. You barely notice it's even there. Love this!

I am a 78 year old woman and I thought I would have to call a handyman to install this for me. NOT SO. I charged my little old electric drill/screw driver, followed the instructions an used the template provided. It went up easy and works perfect. I had another one but it would not hold all my hangers. I have an over-the-door hanger for my clothes so I just need this to hang my 35 empty hangers. Instructions said it would hold 60 lbs of clothes and I believe it. This does the job for what I needed. Thank you.

Exactly what we needed. Out of the way when not in use and strong enough for our needs - someplace to drip dry clothes. My wife love it and I loved the easy install. well thought through design. Keep in mind that this is 100% plastic except for the rod itself which appears to be stainless steel. As others mentioned, the included wall anchors are useless. Use something that reliably expands behind the wallboard or hit a stud.

Just installed in small laundry area. Some purchasers have complained about incorrect instructions and noisy operation of similar model; this product operates quietly, no rattling of metal parts. Installation directions are clear and easy to follow if one notes the 9" distance from the top screw is the distance to the desired height of the horizontal hanging rod, not the bottom screw.Specs indicate the hanging rod should be 66" from the floor to allow full length garments to be hung. If you plan to hang less than full length items you can adjust the height of the mounting base to fit your needs.Use the template or even the InstaHanger mounting base to identify mounting hardware locations on the wall.The use of a level for plumb after you draw the line vertically on the wall is recommended. Extend the line longer than the mounting base on both top and bottom of the template so you are not fishing for it when aligning the template or mounting base. Pencil = removable, use one to make hardware placement more simple.Hanger can be mounted in many materials according to installation directions: masonry block, brick, concrete, plaster, drywall. You will need the correct masonry drill bit for anchor holes in the hard surfaces. Anchors are included, I mounted in lath and plaster using the anchors.
