Bestway Rectangular Solar Pool Cover

This is not "bubble wrap" like that used for packaging. It is like it, but designed for capturing the heat from the sun and acting as a good quality pool cover that won't blow away in the wind. It works surprisingly well as a solar pool heater that costs you nothing to run. And it is not expensive to buy either. It also helps to keep your pool free of insects and debris. A better solution than a much more expensive electric heater, that will cost more to buy as well as costing the electricity. I love it's simplicity that actually works.

Absolute waste of money. It's basically very thin flimsy bubble wrap. And to top it all it's way longer and much less wide than advised so doesn't even blomon fit!! Waste. Of. Money!!

We bought this to help warm our pool and to also keep out some of the debris from the trees / bushes. With this and the cover on, the pool temperature went up 10 degrees! The kids were absolutely thrilled and have been using it more. Good quality too so should last well.

The actual cover size is about 1.7m X 3.8m (we measured it) so it doesn't cover the whole pool. I'd have thought the Bestway cover would at least fit the Bestway pool.We've only just got it so I'm not sure it'll make much difference given that it doesn't cover the whole of the water surface. Time will tell. That's why I've given it 3 stars and not less for now.Edited to say how it works. It does help the water temperature but only the surface temperature! The deeper you get, the colder it gets. So it'd be perfect if you had a 15cm deep pool! Un/fortunately, ours is a lot deeper than that. It takes the edge off but not sure it's worth it.

As previous reviews it’s blue bubblewrap. Seems to work well and it easy to remove by rolling it up.Only downsides are1. It that it doesn’t reach from side to side and is narrower and shorter than I expected2. It bunches up where the pump blows in water but it’s not a major issueOverall fairly pleased

Yup, as others have said. A little thicker than bubble wrap packaging and not wide enough for the pool. Sure there must be a better option out there. Would not buy if I’d seen it first.
