Easy to assemble by following directions. Takes about two hours. The pre drilled holes are perfect. Directions easy. Beautiful cabinet. I used wood glue on all dowels and edges. Very sturdy. Love the color. Overall, very pleased

I have been looking for a bar cabinet for a while now and I'm really happy with this one. I was looking to spend around $200, and my options were either new MDF or a craigslist find to refurbish. I love how unique this one is, and it's really great quality for MDF. Instructions were easy to follow and the unit is very sturdy. I bought brass handles to update the look a little more to my taste, and worth noting the color is a little darker than in the product pictures (like some reviews state) but I'm happy with it. It was also a pretty lengthy assembly, it took me about an 1-1.5 hours to assemble on my own (lots and lots of little screws) but as stated its sturdy so the assembly was worth it. Thought about subtracting a star because there were no extra screws, so I had to keep chasing the little hinge screws... but the finished piece is so nice for the cost.

This cabinet was my daughter's choice to replace my heavy-duty 15-year-old armoire in my beachfront condominium. We were not sure about the idea of putting this together and how sturdy this was so I decided to review others putting it together and one person recommended using wood glue to assist with sturdying it up and that was a great suggestion. The instructions were unclear to me at a few places but after trail and error we finally had it put together. It looked great and after the wood glue dried it became more sturdy. This has been in the condominium for now 7 months and it still looks brand new and it is holding up better than I originally thought. It was the perfect choice with the details and color we were looking for and I certainly recommend it as the styling and color are great! I certainly recommend this for anyone that has the need but use wood glue!

This stand is terrific for the price. The only issue I had with assembling (which I did by myself) was with the hinges. And ultimately it's because when I looked at the images in the directions I misunderstood which part was zoomed in on so I put the hinges on backwards. It took about an hour to put together.**Updating my reviews now that we’ve had the stand for about 6 months. Still love it and the color. The only negative is that sometimes the doors don’t stay shut. It’s as if they have to hit the magnet just right or they open again. But even with that I’d give it 5 stars because it’s gorgeous, has ton of storage and is one of the few cabinets I found that was the exact size I needed for the space.

This cabinet is lovely.It came well packed with each piece covered in a thin foam sheet and styrofoam (would much rather a sustainable materials) that kept it well protected in shipping. I also appreciated the box having sturdy strips of cardboard protecting each side of the box from damage.After pulling all the parts out and laying them in order to use... it only took me about 35 minutes to assemble the unit. All parts fit except for one side holes were slightly off for the door. Easily remedied with a drill. Also note, make sure you're hanging the hinges correctly, because it's almost unclear on the instructions picture and if you try to use the wrong side, it won't line up.The cabinet is solid and sturdy once assembled. I'd have no reservations purchasing this again.It's worth the investment.

This is a very nice looking piece and wasn’t hard to put together. First thank you to the person who’s review suggested to use wood glue on the dowels for extra stability and putting the back on before the doors. I can see how it might damage glass in the doors if you put them on then put the unit face down & screw in the backing. It is a beautiful dark blue and as another review mentioned, it does looks black if it’s not in a well lit area. Although it is not recommended for a television stand, that’s what we are using it for and it’s perfect.

This was a gift for my wife. The item arrived packaged well, but the right side door had the holes for the hinges drilled on the wrong side of the door. This was supposed to be a surprise gift, but now I will probably have to wait another 14 days just to get a replacement door because that is how long I be been waiting just to get the cabinet. I guess she will just have to receive as is. The left side door has a little paint missing but maybe I can just touch it up hopefully it will not be to noticeable. It's not real wood, its press board, but I didnt expect real wood for the price. It does have a decent finish other than the chipped paint on left door.
