The component construction appears very good for outdoor use. Following the Installation Instructions was easy

Installation was straight forward. I used it for temporary electrical connection on an outdoor shed and use an extension cord to bring power through the thin garden shed wall. It seemed appropriate to strengthen the wall of the shed with a piece of plywood to assure the wall was strong enough for the leverages possibly caused by extension cord and to be sure the mounting bolts would not pull through the shed wall.
